Pricing

See what you pay, what creators earn, and how a takeover changes the price.

2. How takeover pricing works

A creator sets the opening price of a spot. The current minimum opening price is €50 before VAT. An available spot can be sponsored at its displayed price. An occupied spot can be taken over before the closing deadline for exactly twice its current price before VAT.

Each takeover is a new purchase, not an extra payment by the previous sponsor. Once the new payment is confirmed and allocated to the spot, the displaced sponsor receives a full refund of its own payment, including VAT charged. Connektik bears payment-processing fees that are not returned by its provider.

  • The final sponsor holding the spot at closing receives the event placement, subject to the delivery and refund terms.
  • A short checkout reservation protects the displayed price for the period shown. It does not charge you. Expiry, failed payment, or a conflicting payment can require a new checkout.
  • Prices may change before you reserve. An amount collected for a payment that cannot be allocated to a valid placement is refunded in full.
StagePrice before VATWhat happens
First sponsor€100The first sponsor holds the placement until a successful takeover or closing.
First takeover€200The first sponsor's entire payment is refunded.
Next takeover€400The €200 sponsor's entire payment is refunded.

3. VAT and international purchases

VAT depends on the actual service, the customer's status and establishment, the establishment receiving the service, and the applicable rules. We may require a VAT number or other evidence of business status. The event location alone does not determine the VAT treatment.

For qualifying cross-border business services, the general rule may place taxation in the customer's country, with reverse charge where applicable. This is not an automatic exemption for every international buyer. Non-taxable organizations and special cases may receive different treatment.

For illustration only: if 17% Luxembourg VAT applies to a €100 placement, the total is €117. A €200 takeover with the same treatment costs €234. If the first sponsor is displaced, the refund is €117. Your checkout calculation, rather than this example, states the amount payable for your transaction.

We charge in euros. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion charges under its own terms. Tax or reporting obligations in your country may also apply; they are not determined solely by the amount of VAT shown on our invoice.

4. What a creator earns

For newly published campaigns, the creator's remuneration is 85% of the final price before VAT for each delivered spot. The BrandsOnMe platform fee is 15% of that price, before payment-provider fees, refund costs, and operating expenses. Previously published campaigns keep their agreed rate. Earlier displaced sponsorship payments are refunded and do not add to creator earnings.

For a new campaign, a final delivered spot priced at €100 before VAT is split into €85 for the creator and a €15 fee for BrandsOnMe, before the creator's own costs and taxes. Creators arrange and pay for clothing and printing. They also bear their own attendance, travel, and other campaign costs unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

Applicable VAT on a creator's service, if any, is accounted for separately. The 85% figure is not a promise of after-tax income. Creators remain responsible for their business registration, income tax, social security, and other obligations where applicable.

5. When money moves

Sponsor payment is collected when payment is successfully confirmed. It is not deferred until the event. A pending payment is not a confirmed placement.

Creator transfers follow delivery approval, expiry of the sponsor review window, resolution of relevant holds, approval of required billing documents, and payment-provider eligibility. A transfer to a Stripe account and a payout from Stripe to a bank are separate steps. No fixed bank arrival date is guaranteed.

Refunds return to the original payment method. A pending refund has not yet completed; your bank may take additional time to display a completed refund.
